Melissa tried her hand with both the filming and editing of this project in 2004. The end result was a collaborative effort which yielded a 4 minute music video. Above is the teaser that Melissa shot and edited herself.

Melissa has a strong interest in the area of film. She developed this while working closely with several recording artists in Philadelphia.
She realized it first when being on the set of her first music video shoot. The producer/director of the shoot was missing some shots that Melissa saw as unique, so she brought them to the attention of the artist. He then decided to go with her on the project, giving her creative control in both filming and editing.
Melissa dabbled with the video editing program Vegas Studio, which gave her the capabilities of simple fades and crossfades, which after doing research she noticed was the industry standard in both music videos as well as movies today.
She has an interest and an eye for this type of work and she may be pursuing this as a career opportunity in the future.
